Did anyone else receive a termination notice from Kaiser Permanente (as of 1/4/2026)? I should have benes through Oct 2026!

If on cobra you have to enroll in 2026 benefits before Jan 9
just following up to clarify my earlier response. yes i got letter from kaiser saying canceled in 2022. Yes wf hr said they would have to escalate with no time line. however when escalated it was fixed within hours since they understood (though i still pointed it out) that wells they had a huge liability
OP here…I called Kaiser first thing this morning. They told me the termibnation letter was sent from WF to Kaiser on 12/29/25, and that I needed to take it up with WF. I called Wells and was directed to Shared Medical, WF third party service provider. They confirmed my medical benes are tied to years of service (duh), and transferred me via warm hand off to WF HR Service Center (after being on hold for 40mins. Once the HR rep came on the line it was obvious he had no clue how to resolve and kept putting me on hold to speak to his Lead. After an hour of on and off hold, the rep told me that an ESCALATED HR ticket was being opened but explained there was no timeline to resolve or call back. WTAF?! I have no benefits according to Kaiser, but WF has no answers…welcome to 2026! 🤗
Same here. I was displaced on 10/28/25 (given the 30-day non-working notice) and then will receive severance for the next 46 weeks (yeah, I'm and old timer with the company). I DID complete my Kaiser benefits during the renewal period before being let go and just got the notice from Kaiser this morning.
I hope it all works out.
I received the same notice from Kaiser. So this morning it’s been a bunch of finger pointing between Kaiser and HR WFB. I should have benefits through Dec 2026.
Hopefully it gets corrected.
My prescription dr-g coverage was cancelled. I just called it’s a known issue. I was displaced late October
@OP i got one when i was severed. i called kaiser and he and found they had made an error. it was corrected
