Far too many employees

Consulting companies for modern tech recommend 1000 per billion revenue, that would mean 5000-6000 employees

The math doesn't work and selling 25% of the company won't be enough. For anyone left there will be massive layoffs

OpenText is so good at layoffs they should create software that helps companies layoff employees.

@OP you are spot on. The huge layoffs will come in July after all the divestitures are announced along with the go forward senior leadership. The remaining company will be 4000 or less employees with 50% being in Canada.

It's opentext. You don't need a formula to know there will be layoffs. That's really the only consistent theme with this company.
