I am hearing that the union will be getting an offer in February. I heard they will be offering a 4 and 4 as an incentive to all.members.

I certainly hope so, but think its unlikely judging by the few surplus titles in 2025 on tech's.
The rumor in New England is that an offer will be made across all job titles in February—a Super EIPP, with employees off the payroll by March 15.

Adding years to your age, after 55, would be detrimental in terms of the cash buyout.
That only works with an annuity.
