Re-org at Strategy & Transformation. Head of UX Design dismissed!

Head of UX Design at Strategy & Transformation was dismissed this week. Role terminated immediately. He clearly won’t be missed considering his reputation and poor legacy. What other senior roles at S&T were impacted this week?

@n2 It is with mixed emotions (joy and happiness) that we share his departure. He has accepted a new position as Head of the Line at the Unemployment Office in Boston, and we wish him continued success in this next chapter as he continues to leverage his core competencies of conniving, shouting, and micromanaging.

@OP During his time at PepsiCo, he was instrumental in setting Out of Office
messages, alienating top talent, and driving alignment by ensuring no one was
ever quite sure what the priorities were. His tireless dedication to meetings that
could have been emails — and emails that should never have been sent — will not soon be forgotten.

He leaves behind a legacy of half-finished, self-serving initiatives, thinly
veiled retaliation, and a peacock that will be sent to him as deli meat. While his
presence will be missed, his spirit will live on; however, Facilities has assured us
it will dissipate shortly once a window is opened.
Please join us in thanking our ex VP for his contributions and wishing him the very best as he continues to leverage his core competencies of conniving, shouting, and micromanaging.

@hf this is a classic example from Pepsico where HR and S&T leadership simply failed to take swift action!

@ax I agree, OHS is a joke.. it took S&T leadership 3 years to address shortcomings and issues highlighted by design team in the OHS results each year?

@dv if you treat people like dirt -- you're going to fall flat on your face. Eventually.
If you act selfishly, exclude, bully, throw people under the bus, or engage in abusive politics at work...eventually, everything you'll do will count for nothing. Sure, short-term you may be ok -- maybe EVEN FOR 3 YEARS, sadly.
But eventually...people will shun you.
Your reputation will spread.
Eventually, you'll get found out by the higher-ups.
Eventually, you'll build a reputation inside (and outside) of your organization as a bully...... someone to be avoided…. Someone who becomes liability to the organisation

interesting that the sites admin deleted some negative feedback here. Anyway, I echo other comments, this was long overdue, nothing surprising in this announcement!

OHS is a joke. I hate even wasting my time filling it out. 20 years ago it meant something and teams worked to make things better

I don’t work with or in any of those departments, but from reading the posts for weeks it sounds like an absolute disaster. Trust me it’s bad all over. Good thing for me is that I’m closer to end than the beginning.

The bloom is off the rose. Many states are not allowing sugary drinks and fried potato chips as part of snap benefits as your primary offerings. Not unexpected with the obesity but should be noted. Shame!
