I heard another 100+ have be offered vr in Dec across UKI. Any truth in the rumour?
@OP it would be more productive to check the official UK DWP site for what you’re entitled to, but to save you some time, if you’re employed for less than two years you’re not entitled to statutory redundancy terms, only what DXC agree.
@d8 up to 12 years
Terms vary - subject to how you joined DXC. Anyone who joined DXC directly or has accepted a new contract - it now matches statutory terms on the calculation and the caps applied. It's not really life changing money for anyone. The lucky few who have better terms, will have found their salary pegged back for decades - so has becomes less and less valuable over time as well.
@d8 lol you wish. On dxc standard terms it's one week per year
3 weeks for every year of service
If your in for less than 5 years it's not worth having and certainly not worth holding out for. Move on before it's too late in your career to be able to.
Remember you get nothing until you've done two years...
2800 plus standard terms
If you are on a dxc contract (and all new joiners have been for quite a few years now) then it's statutory terms.
Sometimes the company gets eager to make people jump and offers a few hundred extra as an incentive to go.
According to people on this site UK redundancies happening, but according to managers if you ask no redundancies
Surley this can not be right ? Must be more in it than that
Statutory, they may offer some incentive for voluntary, but it's not going to be a life changing amount.
