if you’re an account specialist in corporates you might be cooked 8/10. If you haven’t received your RIF notification already well you’re either safe or they’re coming for you too. I mean they’re eliminating directors, managers, and account specialists. So it doesn’t seem like anyone is spared. It seems like a lot of these people are being let go. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter - blur

@OP layoffs are still happening. My mgr was one of them. Last Day Dec 18th, this happens after 28 years.
@et But they are offering referral bonuses up the wazoo for AI engineers! Surely the company will be fine once we are all replaced with AI engineers regardless of our role.
@er I am sorry sir. TR has lost it. For the people below who doubted me what do you have to say? They’re laying people off without announcing anything. - blur
i can confirm that all US based risk and legal Account Specialists were laid off yesterday Dec 2nd. i am unfortunately one of them. this includes a few people in higher up positions and some restructuring all across the management and leadership teams. nothing quite like people from oracle who know nothing about our biz, industry, and customers coming in and throwing away the people who hold the relationships and the knowledge of our customers.
@b7 exhibit A. I work for the people not the corps. - blur
@ac I know for a fact it happened today in corporates. Not a rumor at all.
@ab yeah that’s what layoffs are genius. - blur
@ac I’ve had people confirm what I’m saying in previous posts. Like I said when the dust settles you can confirm all this if you want. Actually go find some people with account specialists positions in 2 weeks and come back to me you’ll see some of their teams/outlooks will be deactivated. - blur
And I’ve heard no confirmation of any layoffs, only rumors from “Blur(ry)”
So, if I'm reading this right, you're either fine or you're not? Thank you for that insight
