What are you going on about? If anything, there's too many of these charlatan contractor clowns about.
40 hours without harassment would be great. The problem is there is more work assigned to someone when there is no way of getting it done in 40 hours and then the toxic manager micromanages and points out the smallest of issues that gets missed and threatens layoff the next round. Not near enough contractors and vendors to do much of the work.
@OP Network is already mostly outsourced to vendors.
@OP work/life is very simple. 40 hours work. Working longer won't delay when vendors start doing your work.
