@OP Average US FTE was around 165k a few years ago.
And original poster, when are RIFs being announced? Traditionally they are done leading into Thanksgiving but none that I’m aware of.
I’m sure they are happening, they always do, but I’m suspect of the “inside” info claims.
Say avg. gets 6-month severance on avg. $120K salary. That’s $60K pp. How many RIF? $50M worth? $100M? $200M?
