Thread regarding USAA layoffs

Bank Town Hall - Any layoffs announced?

Wasn't able to join, but saw the slack thread and didn't see much on there about what actually happened

So there was nothing on the slack (there is), and your co-workers didn’t have much to add, so your thought was to come here and solicit information. Interesting. Since posting this @OP what have YOU learned?

What a d-mb fu--ing question on this forum. No seriously. Fu--ing d-mb. On so many levels. D-mb. It really goes to show they be laying off on the wrong fu--ing people and leaving behind the d-mbest people.

No layoffs were announced. How could they possibly lay off bank employees? Without them, who would waste millions of resources not being compliant every year while somehow still walking around with an air of superiority? Just kidding, this is totally the year we've got our compliance issues in order. Please keep wasting more money on us.

Yes, like they always do in all town halls, they were very specific and clear. Answered all questions with nuance and a sense of a forthcoming attitude. They also pre-announced layoffs like they always do.

Great question!
