Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

How Mary wasted £80 million/$110m

How bad the Management are, $110m down the waste as folks still think DXC are a fried chicken outlet. Hope they finally terminate this. Manchester United chiefs enter fresh talks with £20m financial blow on the horizon. Manchester United are working hard to find a new sponsor, with their sleeve sponsorship deal with DXC Technology set expire at the end of the 2025/26 season

@bd to give Ferrari a touch of credit, most teams are giving all of their attention to the 2026 season and the new regs. Worth seeing what happens there before writing them off entirely- I'd be more annoyed at getting one of the worst possible sponsor spots on the car.

And don't forget the Summer Olympics debacle in 2024:

DXC was an official supporter of the Organizing Committee for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This was for backoffice support not directly linked to the sporting events.

Atos was the Worldwide IT Partner of the Olympic Games and they got a TON of coverage and DXC got none. https://olympics.com/ioc/partners/atos

Here was DXC's press release

After spending that amount of money if you ask anyone about DxC they seriously dont know who they are or what they do.

Im sure it was just for the free holidays to the UK that these deals were struck.

Money for rises finally here i guess.

@bd
Man Utd seem to have turned the corner on their rubbish over the last few seasons and are only 1 point outside the top four and, possibly, look like hitting some consistent form.
Ironic that the DXC deal is up at the end of this season just when it could start paying off for a new sponsor next season.

It's mental spending that kind of money when we are neglected as employees, management are negligent on so many areas it amazes me how we still have clients.

As an employee how crazy is it that they treat us like this then expect us to have conversations with the client and praise our company as if nothing is wrong. The whole system needs rewritten.

It was a master stroke in alignment to failure. Man Utd, Ferrari, all in decline since DXC sponsored them. Failing enterprises unite in a spiral. Though the other two are more likely to maintain their existence than DXC.

That $27 million a year for 4 years they have been paying can go straight on pay rises.

Probably paying a similar amount on the F1, all this has been coming off the bottom line profit.

Total of $200million plus wasted on advertising when they cant pay employees.

Absolute incompetence.
