Was anyone laid off in early September given a termination date of November 14?

In Oregon, large companies are only required to provide a WARN notice if they lay off more than 500 employees within a rolling 90-day window.
Most large companies have a policy to pay you to go away quietly when they lay you off. That's not unusual or special.
@OP Yes....layed off 9/2/25. Termination date of 11/14/2025. I believe this is to get around the WARN notice.
