Just got an invite this afternoon to meet with my one other coworker (We’re L5), the SVP of our area and then our boss’ boss. No agenda, no details. Meeting is private. Seems really strange and now I’m stressed out again.

Just had mine. Informational explaining they’re removing redundancy for managerial roles and “flattening” the levels. Bunch of L5 and under are now reporting to our director instead of our L6. The LOPs are keeping their roles as ICs and will work alongside us under the directors. If you got the “you’re safe” email, then you’re safe, but you might be told you will now report to someone else - or that your DRs aren’t going to report to you anymore (depending on your situation)
I have one of these meetings. My boss is gone so I’m assuming the small group of us will be told that and who we report to now.

Reorg or overall update. There are not more layoffs this week.
@OP it is problem them getting you together to tell you your manager, director, etc. was let go....
Did you get the "you're safe" message? If so, this may mean a variety of things:
- just an update and the SVP is probably doing them in small groups all day.
- you're being moved to a different area
- did you check to see if your boss is safe? because to me this kind of feels like a type of meeting they'd have if your boss was fired
is it possible that your manager might've been let go and now you report directly to their manager?
