This is occurring at just about all, if not all, insurance corporations.

If anyone knows how to get those percentages, please let is know or feel free to provide (post).

Not sure if chatgpt can maybe obtain that type of information from say BLS (Bureau Labor of Statistics) or maybe IRS database or somewhere. I just do not happen to know.

I came across a post on Layoffs/Elevance I thought was intriguing. I do not know if it is true or not. i wish there was a good way to find out the % of Indian workers working in IT (Information Technology) type roles at all of the health insurance companies as well as other large companies like amazon, apple, ups, ford, etc. etc. for say the last 5 or 10 years.

I think if those numbers could accurately be broken out, might tell us the story.

Here is a direct quote from that person’s post on Layoffs/Elevance site:

“Wake up people. This has been going on for years. India has invaded our country and is taking our wealth. This is real.”

My guess is this news about Elevance CTO breaking the law probably makes Humana very uncomfortable.

Reason I say that, if I was a betting person, Elevance (formerly Anthem) is probably the next company that Humana will attempt to merge with or buy or be bought by.

@at Not buying that as an acceptable excuse.

Just because a system is corrupt that helps corporations make more profits doesn’t make it right. When you stand before your Creator, I doubt you will be able to say “We were only jumping off the same unethical cliff as our competitors by taking advantage of the cheap labor our government has allowed in hiring cheap foreign help over actual American citizens.”

By the way, by putting these profits before your own citizens, you are in turn hurting your own economy. And some of the workers you are pushing out happen to be military veterans that fought for this country for YOUR freedoms. All so you can make your precious profits.

I was taught a long time ago a that you first make sure that your own household is fed and taken care of THEN you charitably give to those in need. That is not what is going on here.

And do a little research about India and you might be schocked just how much that country as a whole despise American Christian values. Also, how much of their wages get back to India’s economy.

My comments nor most on here are NOT racist in nature but rather an attempt to shine a light on this scam…and that is what it is…for large corporations to unpatriotically push out their very own citizenry workforce to hire cheap foreign labor.

So, please STOP playing the race card. Thank you.

Thank you. This is at least more respectful and factual than that ‘Indian invasion’ racist comment on the other post.

American workers shouldn’t be pointing fingers overseas workers — they should look straight at their own government. The same representatives and senators they voted for handed their jobs to foreign markets wrapped in a bow of “global competitiveness.” Corporations bankroll the political machine, and in return, the system gives them whatever they want — tax breaks, cheap labor, and a standing ovation. Politicians pledge “America First” on stage, but behind the curtain, it’s all “profits first.” The theater goes on, and the working class keeps buying tickets.

@OP This is what I saw at when visiting the supplied link. Some author named Matt Forney wrote the following article. Think he may be a whistleblower or maybe just wrote the article.

“ NEW: a whistleblower at Elevance Health (formerly known as Anthem) reports that their new Indian CTO, who is under SEC investigation, is now trying to replace Elevance's workers with Indian H-1Bs via consultancy firms.

The whistleblower reports that Elevance's new CTO, named Ratnakar Lavu, is being investigated by the SEC for illegally stealing technology from Nike. According to the official SEC complaint, Lavu created a "shadow organization" within Nike to steal the technology and outsource it to Indians, as well as taking bribes. The complaint states that "the only reason Lavu wasn’t walked out of the building in handcuffs – even though he should have been – was to avoid embarrassment for the Company".

The whistleblower states that under Lavu's management, the Sydney app that Elevance customers use to manage their health insurance, has been outsourced to UST, an Indian bodyshop. They are in the process of purging Americans from the team managing the app, and other Americans will likely leave of their own accord due to UST's terrible working conditions.

Outsourcing health insurance data to an Indian firm opens the doors to identity theft and fraud for Elevance's millions of customers. They must be investigated, particularly given the SEC's statement that Lavu committed criminal acts in his previous job at Nike.”
