I think the settlement agreement outlines a period of time you have to recant your decision to sign (something like a week or two) so at the very least you need to wait for that period to expire.
@OP Did you get your letter/severance offer package on the same day as your official termination date? I got the news last Wed, but my "official" last day is the 15th and they said that's when I'll receive the letter...Also SUPER annoyed because my paycheck was half of what it should have been, since I was immediately locked out of the system and couldn't submit a timecard last week. Really frustrating when you have daycare, bills, and life to pay for!
