I'm on it. I been on it for a few years since RTO due to health. I got it through accommodations with doctors orders.

@1jc+1k6b1rte9 - interesting... I asked my manager about it when it first rolled out, and he told me "Never sign up for that, if you want to stay employed here. Puts a fat target on your back if they need to cut."

Agree. You were very much encouraged to go to My Work and offered all sorts of incentives to go to it (furniture allowance, tech allowance, etc). My manager asked me several times on this, but I was in Chicago and close to office, 135 S LaSalle so always declined because I felt something fishy with the program and unsure of long term of it

MyWork is an ancient program that Management has gone back-and-forth on for years.

It was once (think early 2000s) the Shiny New Strategy to drive savings by reducing square footage and furniture expenses in large commercial real estate.

Well now (post shut down), with municipal and state INCENTIVE$$$ to get employees Back in the Office, it's not so popular. Management wants you back b/c they are Paid for Butts in Seats. (look it up!)

that said, if you are Favorite who was in the original program, your manager may have discretion in allowing you to continue to WFH. But you gotta kiss alotta azz.

it is not offered to any one New. (sorry)

I suspect many/most(?) MyWork participants have some sort of issue which requires the bank to make accommodation. Letting person wfh is usually the simplest solution, and MW is the official way to do that. Compare the non-cost of wfh to sending a driver to pick up the person and transport to/from office, every day.

Many are grandfathered into it. Many years back during the Ken Lewis days it was offered company wide as a cost save initiative (people were encouraged to sign up). Some employees were allowed to remain in my work (for now) as long as they don't move to a new role. Company is slowly pulling the legacy my work employees back into office. Some are retiring etc when pulled back
