Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

In trouble?

I have a meeting with HR tomorrow and I don't know why. All my stats are good, meets+ for sure.

Any advice?

@q0 doesn’t HR attend the lay off meetings with your manager?

HR does all sorts of stuff. One former teammate had to meet with corporate security after she said something to her boss about a “bunch of angry white guys” yelling at her in the same week… apparently they thought she was feeling threatened? Sigh.

It is your manager that would lay you off. HR just monitors your outgoing email while you still have Schwab email access.

OP here - all ok. It was about benefits, after all. Guess there are some additional forms sometimes.

Thank you to those that were kind.

You're probably fine, they already dumped the group for this month.

Be sure you've got tracking for your recent trades, like, be able to answer why you bought or sold something.

Have your resume ready and clean up your social media profiles, just in case.

Probably somebody told someone something and they think you might know about it. You don't. Even if you do ...you don't.

Good luck
