Looks like KOS is not so happy. I think there will be changes coming. I hope they do not mess around too much with R&D!

@OP They need to mess around with R&D. It’s been led by gutless leaders for a long time now and it’s good to see that the change is happening. There are far too many bureaucrats in R&D adding nothing and just gumming everything up - they need to be removed to get things moving again. The Elliot report gets a lot of things right and thats a warning to Ramon to shake things up, make no mistake, he will do exactly that.
Agreed. R&D has been talking about the same things for years and done nothing new or innovative.
@ae Agree 100%. We have stopped taking risks with project work. In the days of MK he liked R&D to take risks and learn from them. R&D are just playing it safe and they need to shake up big time. Let the R&D team do real research and develop new things not just let’s get a new seasoning on a chip. Hopefully Tara can change the mindset.
@ae yup unfortunately in Elliott driven restructuring R&D usually goes out window
Fortunately all the useless Pepsi and Frito lay execs there first to go
With MAHA crowd screaming for reformulations probably the time R&D is needed most, particularly in foods. But given most remaining SVPs are new to PepsiCo and with almost no foods experience a major restructuring is probably the plan.
Those are the buffalo that ran through the storm....A sla-ghterhouse was waiting on the other side.
R&D needs to be gutted
R and D needs a massive shake up . Senior leaders lack the functional competence to lead and they hire in their own likeness. There are layers of unnecessary people in R and D .Start by eliminating activity that isn’t truly R and D and stop working on pet projects .Core products are fizzy drinks and salty / savoury snacks and principal has not changed for decades
