The cuts won't come at Corporate. Melvin has all his Cronies (and they, their cronies) there in place to do his bidding. The cuts will come to us front liners in store. Depot cut around 800-900 Corporate positions. Lowes will save 2-3X that by cutting payroll in EVERY store and brag that, unlike Depot, they aren't eliminating positions. It's the Lowes way.

Marvin & Joe won’t layoff anyone. They move you to part-time, cut your hours and pay rate so you’ll quit. Marvin does this because he is such a Compassionate and Devout Christian. What a duplicitous and hypocritical lousy person! His Net Worth is now over 130 Million after milking Lowe’s for years!

No layoffs they will just cut hours so it’s not worth working for Lowe’s. Better get resume ready

Whatever cuts Marvin makes to increase the stock price. It hasn't been about the people that bust their as--s to sell, load, restock and make the company $ since he took over. It's all about Marvin's already rich friends and making them money.

I was in the Lowes I used to work at today and it was dead. Not many customers and maybe 5 - 6 employees that I saw in the whole store (last year there was at least twice as many) during my time there and prices on things were half wrong and overall the place was a mess. I wouldn't be surprised if Lowes goes under or files bankruptcy within the next few years; I left Lowes because management was becoming aggressive and threatening people with writeups and disciplinary action over things we either weren't involved in or had no control over. Thankfully I had another job to fall back on but Lowes is certainly a joke now. I worked there years ago and they were bad even back then but now working there is almost guaranteed to get you in hot water or some ridiculous sc--w up. How people can defend this company is beyond me.

I see DM's working more and more off the clock and then making excuses to cover for it. Thier being pressured and bullied to complete the work even if there's not enough people. Management tells them they can't make them stay but the work needs to get done or else. I wonder how juicy that $0.25 a raise per hour we're going to get in March is going to look now.

Who cares if they cut us. Lowe's is a s*** place to work nowadays. The glory days are over, the turtle ruined everything. If they cut us we'll take our unemployment and try to find a place to work that we matter.

Well, I don’t know anything, but I would say sales specialist are a sitting duck but you know it’s a good program. I think it works really well, but just saying.
