Can't be bothered to do US on soil, but they'll happily do India on Soil, and China on Soil and other countries know how to keep their data where it belongs with hands on it that need to be on it. That's what happens when an America company wants to be global and the personnel are cheaper elsewhere.

So they had the best profit earning year but their work around for the layoffs are:

1)Eliminating positions - specifically those with a significant amount of time with the company or close to retirement (although we all know in this current economy means nothing.
2) Employees that were on a plan

But not only promoting other employees and ridiculous influx of H-1B visa postings

This has be a lawsuit. Ppl are furious!!

Acceptance team in USA is going to be hit. Not sure how many or what roles. My leader doesn’t know if they/we are safe yet.

Just saw the email, very sneaky. It doesn't say exactly which office or area, I would think it's across all the enterprise

Yea outlook not great theyre doing a lot of educational talks and prepping us for restructuring conversations. All theyre doing it trying to eliminate US based ppl for massive support teams in india. Then when they realize theyre worthless they'll retire new ppl at lower wages. Youre just a number at mastercard. Its never been as volatile in my 15 years here as it has been under the current ceo. He has ki-led the culture and put everyone on edge.
