@7ff "The new vibes drink station at Cary will magically fix the culture, ..."

You must be mistaken. The culture is wonderful according to the My Voice surveys.

This is a joke. Continue to ignore and mock our experiences, then pretend to be confused when nothing improves. But don’t you worry! The new vibes drink station at Cary will magically fix the culture, absolutely disconnected f***ing mo--ns...

@68f you'll start seeing the "so and so has informed me that they will be retiring effective April 1st" emails very soon .... This place lacks decorum and every termination is classified as a "retirement".

@4sm yea when I was laid off in August and moved my job to India, they couldn’t do the work as I was the last one left to train them. So then in September they posted my job internally. I had people I know still there forward my manager my resume and say he’s perfect for that role. lol of course nothing happened. lol in November they posted it publicly, literally my job I’ve done for 14 years. I applied. HR had said I could apply immediately for consideration for jobs when I was laid off. So I didn’t even get an HR interview for my job. Lol the poor girl they hired will be fired at some point in the near future as the scapegoat for the avp making all the horrible decisions. But yea they do tons of illegal stuff. While you work there and after. I got rejected for most jobs in the industry despite getting 2nd and 3rd round interviews. I wound up at an incredible company nice big bump in pay and never touched my severance so met gave me a ton of money to find a better place. Hang in there! It will work out!

Metlife is treading on very dangerous grounds. They’ve been impeding my ability to secure employment by using “employment” agencies to black list me and set up bogus interviews. So I kind of think that’s a Federal Crime.

@4rz can confirm 💯 SBR still acting shady but held in very high regard by EVPs due to the $$$ they bring in.

I’ll be more specific how Metlife ruined my life. RIS - SBR yeah the 2 cu-ts that run that line of business. Ask Mary. She’ll confirm their shady dealings with the regulators. Enjoy. Oh and you should have done something about Expression Scripts, cu-ts.

Metlife will ruin your life if you speak up about possible illegal activities being conducted by senior business leaders. But you already know this.

FIFY:

If MetLife cares about making money, they ought to fire the old, lazy ba----ds in my department.

To maximize its potential as a profit-generating entity, MetLife must address significant operational efficiencies regarding resource allocation. Currently, the organization’s performance standards appear secondary to a culture of retention; in my department alone, there are several long-standing personnel cases that represent a substantial drain on payroll and administrative bandwidth. For the company to remain competitive, we need to shift from a model of carrying underperformers to one that prioritizes high-yield productivity and fiscal responsibility.

It’s a breathtaking display of corporate irony: a stale, checked-out SVP and his 'do-nothing' AVP—the undisputed D-mb and D-mber of the department—have decided it’s time to find 'cost-cutting measures.' It is truly a masterclass in lack of self-awareness to watch the two biggest drains on the payroll hunt for ways to save the company money. Perhaps they should start the audit by looking in a mirror.

They will continue continuous American lay offs. In small batches to avoid the press. I found a spreadsheet 2 years before I was laid off which detailed the plain to lay off at least 1 American worker a year from the customer correspondence art. I was the 3rd in 2 years, so they are ahead of schedule. lol I’ve tried to warn the few remaining US workers but they seemed to prefer ignorance. It’s better to get ahead of the curve and start looking before they fire you.

@aa agreed. I wonder how many millions in the red the budget is already? Some VP's really can't manage well at all. Especially in GTO. And don't get me started on the blatant violation of ethics policy on how they are probably getting kickbacks from certain 3rd party vendors who they have had on the books for a decade or more. Rather ironic that the HR training clearly calls out it's a violation to challenge vendor relationships and yet they refuse to listen to the rank and file workers. Someone's pocket is getting fat.

I predict normal employee retirement / attrition but with NO US replacements.

Nothing large scale that would trigger a WARN notice.

That's the MetLife way.

@OP I'll tell you who WON'T be laid off: the overabundant AVPs, and let's throw in VPs too. Their lips are permanently glued to their bosses' A$$es.
