how many weeks are you eligible for?

4 weeks? then, 4 weeks + 1 day before you quit.

Easy math. Go enjoy your life and forget this place.

Take your sabbatical early in the year you are entitled to it. You will not get compensation for sabbatical not taken if they decide to lay you off. I had my sabbatical scheduled and was laid off a month before I was to take it.

March 1 --after Feb 28 paycheck clears (just to be sure!!(, take your Sabbatical and then you have to "come back" for 1 day to be in the system for your final Sabbatical paycheck.

You don't have to actually go into the office on that return date, just log in from home once. (HR told me.)

I did that last year and left. Never went back. Just contacted Tech by phone to get a shipping label to return my laptop, I did make my manager's asst end my Corp phone monthly payment, but they did not even ask me to return the actual phone. I just recycled it locally.

Much happier to be out of the mire. Life is good on the other side.

guess @OP question about best time to quit after sabbatical and minimize any impacts to bonus and RSU payments.

@OP Block of entitled weeks that does not include holidays. Otherwise, holidays count as days in the block of weeks. I took mine last year with five weeks leading up to Memorial Day weekend.
