Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

GBS - I think cuts are coming

I was forwarded comms today about a new team being set up to look at the following…

Forecast work based on FTE/utilization.
Enhancing operational efficiency.
Formulating strategies for location, talent demand, and bench management.
Boosting billability performance.
Reducing nonchargeable time.
Optimizing labor usage.
Managing costs.

Basically all this translates to looking at excess weight and making cuts. If you want out now’s the time to make it clear to your snr manager. There may not be a better time.

Please fire the bald bully and don't give him a severance. It would save a lot of money and prevent another hostile work environment.

If anyone is in the bench then HR should be fired as it should be the companies job to move labor where it’s needed the most

@2lyv+1tbxabey. You don’t have to ask for VR as your not a slave, if you want to quit then do it or shut the duck up

DXC rewards incompetence.. so play the game

Do you work for DXC? Do you like it here?
Then why don‘t you switch to LinkedIn and brownnose there instead of harassing people here!

If you belive Raul it's in regions where DXC doesn't have "critical mass" whatever that means.

Maybe learn how to type first.

If you think the answer to everything is quit and move on you’re in need of some serious help.

At the wrong side of 50, with 30 years service behind you. You would have to be re--rded to walk away no matter how bad it gets. VR will eventually come, and if times well you can get paid a whole load of cash then quit and retire.

OMG your so smart , all DXC knows is cuts

Bit as I said it before , your not a slave. If you don’t like working for DXC then change jobs. If you can’t find a better company to work for or no one else will hire you then shut up as your where you belong

Any cuts that will come can guarantee that it will be grunts that will be made redundant not the useless middle management that's pulling this company down

Keep trying.
In order for it to be accepted, the account or your delivery lead have to agree. For that, you have to show that if your position was closed, that there would be no impact.

So in short if you can say X can do this, Y can do that and the GIDC can actually do the rest, then you stand a better chance.

Don’t be asking your line manager, go to your L4 and ask.

You may not believe it but keep trying. This place is about as solid as sand.

Literally from one week to the next stuff changes. I know of a guy in GIS who quit, and because he had so much work to handover and they felt it would have an operational impact, they offered him full VR if he stayed an extra month.
