Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

DXC UK has been dead for awhile

DXC Uk has been dead since the CSC days, you just don’t realize it. Get out. They don’t give a flying f about you and will shut you all down eventually when the time is right (for them), you all are way too expensive for them with all your worker safety net entitlements required by the govt. who do you think pays that? DXC. Writing has been on the wall for years. If you think there is a future at DXC, it’s one of being bought up spun downsized and merged. So enjoy your gardening leave and get those CVs ready, or don’t and waste away at this morally bankrupt shell of a company.

Well said, @swp+1iHL83bu.

@2giq+1iNGl8hs - yep that's what I heard on the grapevine - that DXC UK will be no more in next 2 years with all work being offshored and all contracts that require UK Boots on the ground - run out with clients not renewed.

DXC needs to do more WFR to save the promised $500 in this Q; along with further cuts going forward - easy target is the large slice of pie going to employee wages (Especially high in West) - where it can be offshored to cheaper cost centres and saves Mr Shouty more money but more $$ bonuses from Wallstreet and board = easy $$$ for Shouty and the upper board locusts.

"Speaking to several people managers in the UK they've all said the same thing. When they feedback how angry their staff are how about no pay rises and how it will mean large numbers of their teams will leave, the official answer is "Good we want them to leave, it's cheaper than WFR".

This is nothing new with DXC UK. Usually if you requested voluntary redundancy you'd get rejected. Leadership knew that if you've asked for voluntary you'll probably leave anyway, so they don't have to pay you so much.

Pity it destroys Service Levels, leaves clients with failed projects, ruins the reputation of DXC and people who worked there. But, hey! Who cares just so long as Mr Shouty gets his bonus based on all that cost he's taken out?

So the leadership clearly have a plan and we're not part of it. So quit or quiet quit but definitely don't work as if DXC leadership mean anything they say.
