How many of our fellow employees lost their a$$ when Windstream went bankrupt? Chief legal bimbo said we'd win, except Elliott won and employees were left holding the bag.

Buy the stock! Because with ST and his fraud numbers pump and dump the stock baby!
how many times do you need to be punched in the face, before realizing you should move your head? "Publicly Traded" doesn't mean shxt.
@2v1 wow, it sounds like your job makes you angry, you might wanna get that treated by a professional.
Truth hurts doesn't it mo--n? Keep pretending to be an "engineer" who can't get an order ready nor fix it when it's not. Keep calling in someone to help you because you can't figure it out. Keep dispatching a tech and wasting their time while you sit on your thumb wondering what's wrong.
@26d ge-z, let everyone know how bright you are with that GED
You're a mo--n who can't read. YES! It's a WASTE OF TIME to continue to dispatch techs to sites so they can sit there while "engineers" can't figure out what's wrong on an order that was supposed to be ready to go only to have said engineers tell you to leave 5 hours later and come back tomorrow because they can't figure it out. It's it really THAT hard to understand? Yeah, for YOU, I guess it is.
@zz ouch!! That really hurts to actually get paid near 40 bucks an hour to have to go to a place, during your work day, seriously, during your WORK day, and perform your job while assisting an engineer by phone!! Sounds like a huge waste of time to me. Oh, maybe it would be better if they asked you to do that after hours when they would actually pay you closer to 60 bucks an hour!! Spoiled and lazy techs definitely won’t be around long.
Yeah, let's blast the techs for going on countless tasks that weren't ready. Let's blast them for going out, sitting there for 5 hours working with a tester who can't get the design fixed so they can see a loop with their test set only to have them tell the tech they can't resolve it so the tech can leave now after wasting over half their day while still having 4 or 5 other tasks to go complete.
@gg I think your right, when I worked there, a lot of techs looked for a way out of work instead of looking for a way to complete the work. They’ll deny it but they’ll prove it with a ton of excuses. Unless all that dead tech wood has been burned and they’re all gone.
Never take stock options with the same company you work for. If the company goes under, you not only lose your job, but you lose your stock options as well.
@gg Which manager are you? Just wondering
I hope most of you get fired. I bet some of you on here are the reason why installs never happen.
I’m a reasonably young person and found the stock purchase scheme intriguing, but then I remembered who I’m working for. Appreciate the old heads in here for keeping my enthusiasm in check, in hindsight it was unwarranted.
When they were giving us that stock as 401k, I transferred it the day we could into anything else. Sadly the big wigs got to dump their options before we were allowed to. I did get a big win when Uniti dropped to 2.62 after the merger was announced. Doubled my money and sold it all.
Its called the Gunderman inversion curve - works well for a very small few and horribly for all others
I hope no one falls for this. Windstream forced stock on employees as 401k match. Sadly many of them kept it and watched it go to zero in the bankruptcy. No thanks.
