Leaving Sunrun (on my own accord) is one of the best career moves I ever gave myself. Just get out as soon as you can.

The company continues cutting benefits and conducting rolling layoffs while spending millions on pointless swag campaigns and aggressive sales incentives. Those incentives routinely encourage questionable sales tactics that later turn into lawsuits, a cycle that never seems to change. Meanwhile, leadership promotes “Sunrun Says” surveys as if employee feedback matters, yet the same concerns surface quarter after quarter with no meaningful action. At some point, it stops looking like oversight and starts looking intentional. Priorities feel misaligned, and accountability feels nonexistent.
@2re look at the current benefits stuff. It is unpaid as of 2026
The higher ups are currently on a company paid trip to Austin, Texas while the hard workers are struggling to keep the company alive before they get fired. THIS IS SUNRUN FOLKS!
@267 when did this happen? Trying to find but still seeing 2025 8 weeks paid parental leave
They also removed paid maternity leave. It’s all unpaid again
No info on IT layoffs, but on-shore permitting got hit yesterday.
Does anyone have more info about it?
