Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

I don't think there is any better advice

This sounds like the best thing you can do. Get your CV as close to perfect as you can. Practice your interview skills and techniques. Research the companies you'd like to work for and ensure that, unlike DXC, they are ethical and treat their staff and clients well.
Then get out of DXC to work somewhere better. This will increase your salary, and reduce your stress levels as you won't be burdened by an unrealistic amount of work (caused by the people who were doing some of the work being laid off), whilst constantly being threatened with WFR.
Leave the cesspit, and go work somewhere better. Leaving DXC was one of the best things I ever did, you could do it too.

My personal experience has just been the oppsite. Employers are able to distinguish between DXC-the company, and the people who work for it. They value the experience of working in large multi-year engagements with bluechip clients that many DXC-ers bring to the table... and then they judge you for who you are in the interviews... they are not turned off by the fact that you are from DXC. They will never reject a resume summarily just because it has DXC on it.
From what I have seen, the DXC brandname does carry a lot of weight when it comes to job interviews with similar companies.

its better if you leave DXC off your CV. It shows poor personal judgement

Speak for yourself, mate.
Some of us actually take our self development seriously and not sit on our a$$ ,waiting for the employer to find out what training we need to do in order to remain relevant, and then pay for those trainings. Some of us are able to do all of that by ourselves... and yes, we also make coffee when needed !!

Again, it all depends on what you know and are your skills marketable. Most dxc'ers will not even get a barista job, cause they are that lazy.
