DXC Bionix™ is a digital-generation services delivery model that provides intelligent #automation at scale. Global.

intelligent and DXC don't compute

Waiting for the rerun of the Six Million Dollar Man to give Bionix a kick up the butt.

Yes, we know "Digital" is a buzzword and sales people love jumping on the bandwagon. Personally, I don't care what the label is.

Many of us have been working outside DXC (since leaving DXC) to help clients to make the digital transformation (or whatever you want to label it) to replace their legacy with cloud solutions and enable mobile working, to then bolt on modular security analysis, business AI and BI and dashboard Management reporting.

For the client its not just about swapping on-prem legacy for the cloud (as that can be just as expensive), its about having the flexibility to then improve the customer service and be free to change processes and not have to worry about all the arugments with IT and why a 20 yr old system wasn't designed to do that. Consequently most system I see are 20 years old with 19 years of workarounds bolted on it to the point where you have process issues, inefficients, security issues, inaccurate data, data loss, poor service, high costs, blah, blah, blah... the usual.

But given them mobile working, analytics, cloud security, flexible process design, dashboards and what have you, they can then adapt and use themselves. In fact I see clients just going straight to MS or AWS and using single sign on Azure AD in the cloud and don't need us (or DXC).

But I don't know what DXC digital is. I obviously am not privvy to DXC's workflows, processes, tools and standards that support all this. But it sounds from here that many of the staff don't know either. What is DXC's 'playbook' on this? (I hate that buzzword too but I mean workflows, standards, operating model and how it is underpinned by values).

If all you hear is buzzwords from afar without some context, meaning, real application, tools you can see, processes that you can touch, contacts you can call, training that you are given or can access for you and your team, then yeah, I agree: 'Digital' just becomes another load of old '****ocks'.

DIGITAL is Bull also. Computers have been digital for decades. Digital Transformation is using modern computers to solve business problems, the same thing we've been doing since I entered Data Processing in the 1970's . In those days we had System Analysts performing Process improvement analysis and integrating computers to help. SAME dam thing!

#ISeeDXC and it's bull c-ap

DXC doesn't have anything BIONIX www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/bionic
The science of bionics uses knowledge about how biological systems work to help solve engineering problems. The material Velcro, for example, was inspired by the way burrs behave when they stick to your clothes, and some computer chips are now wired in ways that imitate the "wiring" of the brain and nervous system.

The so called BIONIX website is a list of scripts, MARCO's etc... That is NOT BIONIX

to answer the question, no of course DXC is not using Bionix on internal processes - they're not using Bionix on client processes or delivery to clients either, that's why Mikey got fired, couldn't get the headcount out of the door fast enough last quarter (3900 vs 5000 expected target) because there is not enough real substance behind the Bionix automation story

There's a reason why internal things don't get better- its because Mikey never allowed any spend on things as worthless as internal systems.

I can remember him banging on about the new (CSC) offices we were going to get - open plan, wireless networks - all "modern" model stuff. As it happened only one got that - Tysons.

The rest of us consider ourselves lucky to have things like heating, lighting and a chair to sit on.

I've heard Sal say that we have far too complex processes and he's going to simplify them... actually thats not true, he said the processes were too complex, he didn't actually talk about fixing them and that he's also going to maintain the "discipline" of DXC... which basically means not spending a penny.

Unless bionix is free to use and magically just builds itself, internal won't be seeing any.

Supposedly Stv h was let go because he was supposed to cut out 1 billion and cost and the only cut out nine hundred million dollars

He was supposed to do this using CSC bionix now called dxc bionix

You can read this in the lawsuit

You can read that according to him I changed the rules or his bonus

and you can read in the lawsuit he put personal information in there about my girlfriend and her cutting my steak for me because he wanted my wife to find out

Plus he put in there that CSC might be sold or merged with another company

Did Lee things to be vindictive none of these things matter in regards to his lawsuit

Well I'll be golfing anyway in Florida come visit me I still get to use the corporate jet and I get free medical insurance for life so maybe I will start smoking like I did when I was a kid
