Wow, the first sentence perfectly sums up what is wrong with the company. You have teams of people working around the clock? To plan a party/celebration? While there have been thousands of people laid off over the last couple of years? Why have you not worked around the clock to fix the regulatory/compliance issues? Why are you not investing that time in innovating and building out products that will put us back on top? Because today's senior leadership doesn't know how to do that. They'd rather have hard-working people plan out celebrations and make futile attempts to remind you how great a place you work at. Lipstick on a pig...Wow!

It’s okay if you don’t and honestly, if you’ve gotten to the point where you are speaking negatively about your employer on external forums, it’s definitely a sign that you need to step away. Stop resisting what is. Take responsibility for your life. No one is forcing you to stay in a situation that isn’t bringing you happiness.
