Thread regarding HCSC (Health Care Service Corporation) layoffs

Bad leadership

Can you imagine inheriting a team, firing or bullying them all out, hiring a new team by yourself and have them all fired or leave within 18 months?
There has to be a trend and it can't be the fault of the 11 people fired or left under her

@19j exactly why I stopped doing those useless and rigged surveys a long time ago.
The clown show at the top refuses to address true issues and instead creates committees that are of no value but let them say they listened so please give us another award.

We are a company of lifers and whats the best way to make good people leave, create bad leaders that demand pound of flesh. Either you will leave or stay and have a mental breakdown.

Good leaders have zero support from top
Leadership. All they care about is Blue Pulse completion rates. No listening. No follow through. Also these culture committees like ones by Macklis… a total sham.

This happened under to bosses within the same department. After losing several high-value employees and several HR complaints, they moved one leader to a different team. That team left. At least one person sued for mental health decline. I ended up in the hospital due to stress myself under that manager. They FINALLY let that manager go.
Then the person they put in charge of that first area found the same fate after another mental health lawsuit was filed. The problem we have is that the ONLY person that takes the HR complaints for leaders is all about leaders and the burden of proof is on the individual contributor. And if that HR person is friends with the awful manager, then nothing is going to happen. Im just glad that HR person is leaving the company finally.

@a4 if they were not managed appropriately then the person in charge of it all is responsible. That person needs to be fired.

Sometimes that’s an indication of a group of people that were not managed appropriately to begin with. Could be a lot of factors. The HCSC culture su-ks these days as it is. And people leaders have the brunt end of the stick most of the time
