With the CEO stepping down, it’s hard not to feel uncertain about what’s next. Whoever takes over is likely to bring major changes. And we all know that frontline employees are usually the first to feel the impact of any reorganization or cuts. The economy’s slipping, the job market isn’t great, and many of us are already stretched thin, both financially and emotionally. A little stability would go a long way in easing the pressure we’ve all been feeling. But right now, it’s hard to see where that might come from.

@1b0 ohhhhh now we know you are scared! DOJ has already opened multiple investigations into H-1B and offshoring racketeering.
Apple and Meta already paid hefty fines to prevent further court discoveries.
There have been many first hand testimonies, some to investigators, some to judges.
We know you are sweating.
@15n false : Lead Stories reached out to Walmart and was directed to a tweet posted on X.com by Dan Barlett, the executive vice president of Corporate Affairs at Walmart on August 25, 2025 (archived here) that denied the connection between firings and an H-1B visa kickback scandal:
To set the record straight, earlier this month, following an investigation, Walmart terminated one vendor and a small number of U.S.-based associates. This investigation had nothing to do with H-1B visas and everything to do with acting with Integrity, a core Walmart value.
Walmart VP(s) got fired over kickback and racketeering scheme,1200 foreign nationals fired. This is a key dirty secret in the foreign talent and offshoring scheme in the US. Target should take a closer look internally as we accelerate offshoring to India.
Moving jobs to India and AI now tells you all you need to know about Target’s future.
Gemma Kubat is responsible for moving a significant number of jobs to India. It's one of the ways she is scheming to get a c-suite job. cringeworthy
One of the reasons the company has gone to he-l and they double down on India. Other than sr leaders in India absolutely no one there has ever set forth in a Target store. They’re burning it down.
With all the movement to Target India, layoffs are guaranteed. In fact they have already started in some of the dual business buildings.
Maybe they'll figure out an approach that doesn't cater to the fringes, swinging back and forth and in the end pi----g off both sides of the political spectrum.
Or maybe they'll figure out how to get order inventory working a little better, so that my wife doesn't complain and say - "We should just go right to the grocery store, because TGT is always out of stock of at least a couple of things on the list" At this point she is willing to pay a little more just to avoid the extra stop.
Someone in the c-suite will push Fiddelke hard to move more jobs to India because that has been their scheme all along.
Agreed. I'm sure one of the first thing to come after the new ceos start date in February is a full return to office. With some silly explanation that paints that as the cause of targets poor state.
I'm sure people will leave. But as you've said, job markets tough, so many who would like to leave in response probably won't.
I'm highly anticipating a major layoffs.
I think target is in this tough position partially because of their many decisions in the last few years that have upset people, but also
Partially because of the terrible environment the government has created.
I hope for the best for everyone involved but it worriese greatly.
