Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

So we all going RTM?

What's the consensus. Is this going to happen everywhere?

@2xh my RMS does nothing. Only thing he does is make a schedule that usually does t even make sense. Maybe some of the RMS out there actually train, work with merchandisers, actually care about the reps feedback but mine sure doesn't

@151 Ignorant comment. It is considered 1 of the hardest jobs in the co. Have you considered that maybe the geography and number of people being managed is unmanageable - so the company is trying to fix that? They also have to know everything the DM knows and many Sales representatives call the RMS constantly instead of their DM. Managing your people at the territory level makes more sense.

@c1 my DM is southeast as well.
He seems to think it won't happen down here.

@139 I found this entire post of yours disgusting. The company expects you to get all that done now as the RTM, but the RMS are no where to be found right now. The RMS don't coach, don't train, don't help out at all, but when you become an RTM, now all those things need to get done? Wow!

Rtm here, I have three, MOW’s… one is decent been here about four years, the other one’s been here for four months and the other one has been here a a month and is already quitting…. So I have one good person. The other one su-ks and now I’ll be training yet another person…. So while I’m trying to keep all these Walmart straight, they want you to get your rollback displays up, do your scheduling and your payroll and make sure you’re training people and then coaching people it’s such bullsh-t

@OP RTMs that don't have good FTOW'S are working 6-7 days then they are covering call outs vacations no extra help around if you go in your area take package if offered most RTMs that are working 45-60. As they are told you are a mgr now and the big push is yet to come we had all March to iron out the kinks

@gh the RTM job is cost cutting at its best
New position same cr-ppy order writers. Still no time to sell packing out all the time
Covering call outs
Hiring and discipline people
This is a new low for the company
