@1an We also had a higher stock price and some respect in the market. Looking back, those were far better days.

@x0 We are going to be a consulting company now. Competing with Accenture(NYSE down 50% in the last year, Slalom down, Bain down too). They are the high bar! Just like them, we smart people will work for billable hours and utilization metrics against 2000 available hrs per year. The only minor problem we have to overcome besides hiring more humans is that AI is doing everything that used to take hours, in mere seconds, 24-7- leaving us with no choice now but to innovate by billing by the second and working shifts round the clock!! I know it sounds rather tiring, but hey- that's where we are, right? Surely there is no other way to do this but the OLD TRIED AND TRUE way, right? #winning

A bunch of external randos with little applicable experience suddenly brought in as SVPs for core presales business. What could go wrong?

How does Leahy still have a job? Somebody introduce her to the unemployment line.

I login because I’m certain attendance is tracked but I mute and hide the application. I refuse to spend time watching these mo--ns use fluff words to try to motivate us while they run the company to the ground.

@g7 He pretty much torched what was a solid engineering and performance culture and really the only place where Sirius and CDW people worked well together.

@OP It was wild watching the BK fake tribute, er celebration. When he started blubbering all I could think is that he was so sad because MK caught on quick to his fakery and knocked him off of his comfy little perch. Boohoo.

@OP
Were they all tan?
Refreshed from their time in the DR?
Cheeks a little more chubby from the lobster and mimosas.

@ag
This is also part of the reason things are going the way they are because leadership knows most people keep their head down to keep collecting diminishing compensation even when you keep finding ways to bring in more revenue while balancing increasing GP margins on customers to soften the blow of getting paid less internally.
15 yrs in....assuming you make $100k-200k and maybe $300k unless you're president trip material ... does it feel good doing the same amount of work...with more delays and stress to make less?
I performed exactly this way for even longer than 15 years but eventually enough is enough of not actually being valued.
I made enough where the holiday bonus wouldn't be missed BUT they literally don't appreciate what actual coworkers do which is keep the company afloat allowing these clueless leaders to continue being clueless.
No more holiday bonuses for the masses but there are people still getting bonuses....how's that work (just an example).
Guess it's better to shut up, thank the mighty powerful almighty C suite, collect the scraps I'm allowed for my daily grind, and conclude with "thank you sir, may I have another"
Free pizza and coffee containing I guess is whats keeping everything going.

Town Hall?
Will there be new names for the same stuff?
Digital Velocity, Digital Experience, Hybrid Infrastructure (or is it Hybrid Data Center?), Workspace...
Sales does not even know what name to call these groups, much less what technologies they actually cover. Way to over complicate it!

I have never listened to a single word from Chris whatever her name is. I don't pay any attention to this stuff. I have been at CDW for over 15 years. I stay on top of my technical skills, proficient in more than one technology and as close to the revenue generation as I can be. I keep my head down and focus on my revenue generating work and let the chips fall where they may....and I am still here. Do your job, be the absolute best at it, stay close to the revenue generation and promote a positive attitude in everything. Ignore the noise.

It will be entertaining to see which executive wins Leahy's Practice Battle Royale Funhouse 2.0. Definitely betting the under on the Data team. Spineless leader will end up getting a slap-down within 6 months.

@a4 Ha, was thinking the same thing. It was a Leahy buzzword bingo! Somehow she got them all in there. Unreal.

@a5 it’s 75% CW yammering on about who know what and then just an update on the new practice structure. This 2 hours could’ve been a 30 minute call with an email follow up.

Oh look, another "transformation", that'll solve our issues......

Also, how many inspirational sayings was CL able to fit into her speech, she's CDW's very own version of Baghdad Bob at this point...it would really be so sad, if it wasn't so comical.

Also, someone needs to clue her up, her always wearing red doesn't convey the message of power and excitement she think it does for her.
