Lots of folks have heard rumors that the folks in the Wooten bldg are moving to the Forest Hills bldg. They have even gotten rid of their daytime cleaning crew. I thought they were revamping that bldg. what happened? They certainly haven’t done anything to the Forest Hills one. Slap some purple paint on a wall and call it a day. Will they revamp the Forest Hills bldg if we are all under one roof?

@14b Let’s not forget the mold in some of the offices and the poor air quality that people breathe in everyday. On a side note, IT came in and put two monitors and a computer on every open desk in that place but would not replace any of the equipment that the employees were currently using that was out of date. All that equipment for people that are no longer there. Such a waste.
Very interesting considering Forest Hills has been told they're going to Wooten. The Forest Hills building is disgusting. Constant flooding of bathrooms, nearly 20 year old carpet, peeling/bloated wallpaper from the flooding. The 1st floor has a near constant sewage smell and air fresheners sit on the floor near the bath rooms to "help". Currently BOTH elevators are broken. Always something wrong with the AC/flow. Forest Hills employees were supposed to move October 2024, then it was moved to January 2025. No updates since then.
As mentioned, I am mildly surprised Truist is still in Wilson. But, the real surprise to me is that the Truist Leadership Institute is still open.
Maybe someone knows for sure, but you would have to think that maybe keeping it open was part of the merger agreement. It is not hard to imagine Kelly King making sure a revenue drag with his name on it was protected at the expense of everyone else.
We were told that those of us in the Forest Hills bldg was moving to Wooten Blvd. Then all of a sudden talk of that stopped and we haven’t heard anything.
Being the birthplace of BBT it’s hard to believe Suntrust hasn’t moved all jobs out of that town.
Just wait, it is going to get worse.
Wilson, NC - Yee haw!
I don't think that the literal ro--h queen to whom they pay rent for the Wooten building is willing to re-work the deal.
