@149 - "Or they are reducing exposure to foreign workers..."

What even IS a foreign worker in a multinational, which by definition is, well, multinational.
If Avaya is NOT a multinational and wishes to be thought of as a US company employing proud, patriotic Americans and expendable "foreigners" then it should stop pretending to be.

@149 Avaya previously had NO problem letting uncleared people (regardless of their nationality) accessing restricted sites....NOT to mention illegally forcing engineers to support Russian sites in violation of sanctions.....

So, yeah, I'm not buying that. This is a cut and run, nothing more.

Or they are reducing exposure to foreign workers due to their continued and badly needed government contracts. Sounds like an astute business decision.

Doing what Avaya does best... Fudging the financials with smoke and mirrors, scratching around to find cash (or the illusion of cash!). The long, slow death spiral continues.

The situation is dire when a company starts laying off what is already the very cheapest workforce in India 🤣 The writing is on the wall...

Anyone on ACO will just get handed off to RingCentral.
Anyone who is still on-prem, y'all are writing your own bugfixes.

I predict Avaya's EBITA will hit 22% when they get down to 100 employees, which will probably be next week.
