2026 budgets out a month ago planning happening on next set of layoffs per group.
Not going to make 1 big Intel wide layoff but per BU schedule to make it more quiet. Expect overall reduction 1H2026 of 10% (about 10k people).
2nd half reduction based on the revenue/profit numbers.

5k to go to reach target. With extremely tight and reduced budgets only funded projects will have resources. Projects below will need to let go. 2026 budgets are already out, ask if your project is funded or not.
