We now have a sudden 1.5 hour meeting with our failed leader Jim Clendenen

I never got the 4pm KCC invite. I suspect most GO jobs are gone, as KTD pretty much runs the business anyway.

The updated CORP Associate Communications email states "This Wednesday's Kroger Capability Center info session (times) has been cancelled. Stayed(typo) tuned for more opportunities to learn about the Kroger Capability Center in the future".
Already behaving like an Indian call center, delays, mistakes and regret lol.
I should note in most American English canceled is spelt with one l, while British English uses two ll's... this company doesnt care about quality anymore and it shows.

KCC info session cancelled according to the Inside SSC email. The corrected version. Guess it went from being rescheduled to not happening at all…

@12v it hasn’t been cancelled to my knowledge. Still have it on my calendar. Did you get official communication via email that it was cancelled?

@nc saw your posting name. Don't worry Greg will fire Yael for sure. Id never want to go to downtown cincy any day of the week. Much less 5 days. Though if your work address is corp you should have anticipated 5 days was at least a possibility at some point.

@kt buddy, corporate and KTD have been in a hiring freeze for years and no one wants to work for a company in office 5 days a week. We literally fired 20% last year. Teams are strapped, kroger leadership has been playing games and now that they see the mess theyve created they're finally going back to basics.

@k4 no clue when. I hope nobody gets laid off. I dont work for corporate but I personally heard greg say what i had put in my earlier post. He has plans of cleaning house. I havmt been at corporate office in long time. Maybe it is too bloated. Those that work there have a better idea. My best guess is quarter 3 if 2026 to quarter 2 of 2027 .

@kd you seem like a ray of sunshine. No wonder people don’t want to come to the office if they have to work closely with that attitude

@k4 people have come here and said there will be layoffs every week for the last eleven months. They were correct once.

The only thing happening on Wednesday is that you will come into the office and bi--h about how upset you are that you can’t take teams meetings from home.

@jy do you think the lay offs will be this coming Wednesday?

@d3 i doubt your assessment is accurate thsi time. Layoffs are needed to pay for the price cuts. Greg said 1 out of 5 people he spoke to at corp didnt reallt have a job. What do you think he meant by thst? I hope youre right but i walked away from it with a different perspective
