This place would lay off a man on life support if it meant another dime for the shareholders. That’s the culture. Maybe I’ll be gone soon enough myself, but I sure as he-l hope the suits upstairs get a taste of the same when their time comes. No one escapes forever. Not even them.

@125 I did not make that post. And I get what you’re saying, but it’s hard to care about the privacy of people at the top when they’ve shown zero care for our jobs, our health, our families. When you’re treated like disposable parts, it’s hard to see the ‘human’ in the people treating you that way.
Why post an Executive's address? What are you hoping will happen? Do you want a crazy person to show up there? How would you feel if your address was posted on here?

I was let go while going through cancer. I had to tell them because I needed two hours a week to go through my treatments. They let me go halfway into my treatments though I was a top performer.
No one is safe, IIRC one of the rounds a woman posted on here that they laid her off basically just as she got back from pregnancy leave from her first child. 10yr veteran.
@dk I think a few people were let go. Not sure if they were laid off or fired. I believe someone said they were let go this month (or maybe late August) in a different thread.

If you need the money to take care of yourself then please look for an employment lawyer. If you look back in the threads you’ll see someone else had a similar issue. Not easy when you’re sick to have to fight a heartless employer at the same time. See what an attorney thinks.
