While the initial reaction may seem positive, looks like investors are wondering why TD pays so much for marketing execs and brand campaigns that are incongruent with reality. TD is not More Human, in fact, internally it is less human than ever.

Bring the Ed Clark playbook back. Burn Barrats - what a legacy that guy leaves. If I were TD plug ed Clark in.
@f7+1khbpbe61 You NAILED it. Our marketing team is, as the french say, Les incompétente.
More Human? Anyone ever applied for a job at TD can tell you that is total BS. Even internal candidates don't even get the courtesy of an acknowledgement. HR is supposed to be Human Resources and it is the least human of any function in the bank. I'm sure the press would have a field day if HR's hiring practices were evaluated.
@110 I lost all respect for TD a few years ago when they had the drag queens at the WOW Awards show. I understand wanting to be open to all but shoving that in our faces was over the top.
I watched Jenny Platt parade around on stage at the NY based all hands call and instantly lost any respect I had for the NY based employees and they hooted and hollered in brown nosing support. Everyone seems to walk on thin ice around her and her stupid mop of hair and bow ties - we get it, you want to dress like a man, is it because she is g-y and people are afraid of offending her or being accused of discrimination if they disagree?
They are trying unsuccessfully to turn the brand around and ta not working. I don’t get paid the $$$ salaries to figure this out but the messaging they are presenting is. It no point. We are all talking about it a bad way
I think it's a weird slogan. Not sure what the execs were going for. Are they saying we are more human so we are prone to making mistakes? And why are they saying more human when we are investing so heavily in AI? Plus every time I hear or see "more human" it makes me think of that White Zombie song More Human Than Human. Google it if you have never heard it.
Shows how tone deaf the execs are at TD. Been here for 20 years and never seen it this bad with morale at an all time low. It’s not just RTO causing this , but also poor management and horrible decisions.
TD marketing has no idea what they are doing. That commercial really stunk the joint out but all the brown nosers are on the TD intranet commenting on "how emotional they became" or "It means sooo much to me to work for this great company". NO ONE UNDERSTANDS THAT COMMERICAL.
