Another round of layoffs started today. Support engineers in Solaris/Network and Disk domains in Poland were laid off along with hub agents. More layoffs to follow next week. Spain is next, followed by other sites in Europe.

Does Oracle still show you as "employed" while you are on severance?
I received an 8-month severance at a former employer. When my new company checked my employment history, I was reported by my old company as "employed" during those 8 months. Anyone know if Oracle records you in the same way?

There goes vacation.......
Oracle has just taken away all salaried employees accrued vacation and replaced it with "flex" vacation. When you have "unlimited" vacation, you have no vacation.
