Hard work and knowledge are not merited and just being a material manager gets you to the top in Rig. Funny how those that follow in the VPs footsteps get rewarded and the persons with the knowledge get left behind!!!

They laid off our IT person today at facility in Oklahoma. I guess since all the VERP have processed other cuts were bound to follow.

Is it normal for Holiday and Vacation time to not accrue towards overtime? I was just wondering if similar locations got the same change.

So call me a dandy pessimist but I worked for Schlumberger before joining NOV and I am waiting for Half 2019 cost reduction implementation. We all know it’s coming before end Q3 so why are so many people being held in stasis ?
