Aicha let me inform you of something darling

7480 was successful because of the engineering talent not the ship captain! BTW the ship captain stayed and you fired most of the engineers. Can't wait to see the captain go down with the ship!

Intel should close mobile period

How can Intel continue to support this money losing business. I really don't see the reason Intel is in modems is a really tough business with low profit. The junk they are throwing out at the moment I'm surprised anyone is buying.

The reasons why 5G can never happen

So it is just as well that 5G components will sit happily inside a sub 6 GHz LTE and LTE A network, just as easily as in a pure 5G network. No root and branch upgrade will be needed this time. 5G will not involve another big bang upgrade... — read more

5G is coming sooner than we think

"I think in general, if you'd have asked me that question, a year ago, I would have said that it would have happened closer to 2020. Certainly over the last year and accelerating here over the last quarter there has been a real pull to push that in... — read more

If you are 45+

H1b managers only hire H1b workers. If you are 45+ and an American born non-Indian in Silicon Valley, you're fuked. To be fair to both sides, the H1b management abuse the hell out of "their people" because if the lose their job they lose their h1b... — read more

Intel seems like an awful place to work

It seems like a big brother-y post apocalyptic place which turns you into mindless, conformist, obedient corporate slaves who should be glad they have such a well-paying "job". Wake up, go to fab, push wafers, go home, sleep, repeat. No work life... — read more

is it true that within the next few years, if there are layoffs in most tech companies, H1Bs will be the majority because most American tech workers had been laid off long ago?

Is an Intel URM "red carpet" event even legal?

I thought it was illegal to discriminate by race, sexual orientation or gender in a companies hiring process. But if you are a straight white male you can't go to these hiring events?

Hello, is Intel hiring?

I have a PhD in electrical engineering from a midwest university and I have applied for my green card which I should get soon. Is Intel hiring? I am tired of applying on online job portal.
