Written up for no succession plan

I’m over 60 and can retire any time. Couple weeks ago my mgr wrote me a pip for not having and maintaining an adequate succession plan. They pointed out that every mentee I have worked with for the last two years has left the company regrettably. ... — read more

These acquisitions are sickening

The price paid for Sparta makes no business sense. At a time when many parts of the business are struggling, this deal is a slap in the face to employees and shareholders.

Indifference is worse

Nothing Hon has done in the last year surprises me anymore. I used to get upset, angry, even indignant. Now I feel nothing. Every day is the same routine, come in, make my rounds, do my work, then clock out. Get paid for the work I do and that’s... — read more

Where are you now?

Many of you have moved on to other companies that are treating you right. I'm really hapoy for you, because you deserve better than HW. Could you please share what company you're at now to give the rest of us some ideas for future targets?

Finally!

I can finally say no more: Future layoffs, horribly toxic environment, favoritism, poor bennies, and most of all I don’t have to see coworkers stab each other in the back just to try to stay afloat on a sinking ship. Gave my notice and counting the... — read more

Will Honeywell keep cutting benefits?

The companies has gone from pension to 401K to free cash flow, not because they do not generate the amount to pay employers who dedicate their life to the company. Also, accumulative vacations to unlimited which is completely false, just another way... — read more

Honeywell has no idea what lean means

If done right, they would staff at 150% of demand. That extra 50% is to focus on cross training, process improvement, and the unscheduled work that comes in unplanned. The next year you stay 150% staffed, but you need less people because of the... — read more

Salary range comparison

How would you compare the salary range of managers and engineers? Is technical/IT managers salary range equivalent to a lead engineers salary. Same with senior manager and a principal engineer salary range? Band 4 is way too broad to me. It’s... — read more

Lump Sum Pension

Starting to irritate me why Honeywell keeps your lump sum pension payout for almost 3 months after you leave. Definitely not the right way to treat a LOYAL employee for over 30 years.

Linkedin

Does Honeywell demote people? I see lot of people saying they are principal program managers on their LinkedIn but they are actually lead p managers in the system.
