Spending Money

The plant I work at is still spending money right and left. We are told to watch our cost. How do they expect the workers to work at 100% when there is a layoff and they act like everything is fine and dandy? We don't have much work(hourly) so all we... — read more

In recent lite of the layoffs, (all over), Dave Cote said it himself - "At Honeywell you don't have a career you have a job"

Dave is leaving (somewhat), appointed his successor, and is trying to build up his golden parachute. He gave fair warning, although not many took it as such, he did let everyone know this was coming, why else would he pat us on the back all the while... — read more

I was treated like I had stolen something

In January I was given 1 minute to grab my personal items and escorted out of the building without saying goodbye to my coworkers and friends. I was treated like I had stolen something and was being led out with a box and an informal "good luck" from... — read more

A vicious company

I worked for Honeywell, and I can say for sure it is the most vicious company on earth. The waste is enormous. Management technically is a disaster. The abuse of workers is very bad. I warn engineers not to consider working for Honeywell. It is a... — read more

Should have seen it coming.

When working people vote for the GOP, this is what they should expect. If you work for a living DO NOT vote for people who will take money from your bosses in order to write tax incentives for your bosses to move your jobs overseas. A working man... — read more

Honeywell is very anti-American be careful

Honeywell is laying off great American workers so they can mover them to China and India. Products that are being produced overseas stink. Honeywell is definitely not the company it once was. Employees who aren't laid off have the worst benefits, no... — read more

Honeywell Furlough 2016

In this thread, let's consolidate all that we know about Honeywell Furlough 2016.

First email is out. A couple more still to come.

Also, for those who were part of the MIP, incentives are halved and will stay that way (i.e. they will not be restored once the economy recovers). But this only applies on the Americans. So for Band4 on the Americas, the MIP is cut in half. For Band4... — read more
