Upsetting observations
I've put together a list of reasons I've become upset at Honeywell since starting to work for them. No one "nail in the coffin"... just an accumulation of slights I've observed Layoffs happened at the start of 2016. About 6 months later, a second... — read more
Been there and glad to be gone
I retired after 38 years and glad to be gone. I served in a position where I was in contact, conversation, and work related projects with and from senior leadership. My advice to anyone thinking about working for Honeywell is DON'T. I was fortunate... — read more
Please participate in the upcoming positive employee relations survey
This is not a joke! They want us to complete the PER survey. I'm gonna take a few hours typing out a manifesto telling them EXACTLY how I feel. I encourage everyone to do the same.
HTSI Jacksonville
Wonder if this includes the HTSI Jacksonville, FL site that was just sold to KBR?
Allied Takeover
Honeywell died the day Allied took over! I heard at one time they considered combining the names, the winner was "HONEYLIED"
Just heard that we will have to take a 10% pay cut that will start Dec. 2016 instead of 2 furloughs.
Is it OK to take a nap at work?
My boss does it all the time. I am kind of old school, cannot accept this but I see some people are doing it. What are your thoughts?
Torrance leadership moving on.. Last Month Material Director moved to FM&T and this month the Site leader is leaving Honeywell. Both good guys
Previous Site leader now in Clearwater was great. In a (3) month stretch left (3) dead and (4) retired with heart related (stress) issues. The rumor is 100 to 125 will get laid off next week.
Everyone else is laying off then hiring a cheaper grad workforce
http://www.ae.gatech.edu/event/aerospace-engineering-career-fair Such BS. They spew this story about how everyone's in the industry is laying off to somehow justify why they are forced to layoff an do furloughs. They are just laying off to get free... — read more

Watch out if you are about to apply for work at Honeywell...
Watch out if you are about to apply for work at Honeywell... I've been with Honeywell since 2007. The job looked really promising at the time, but as the years rolled by you could see it declining until May 9th when they locked us out of our jobs... — read more
HON - THE BEST place to work
It was THE BEST place to work in the thirty years I was there. It's very sad to hear of its demise and inevitable destruction.

Focus on the real problem. Furloughs and RIFs are not that big a deal, outsourcing is. There are a ton of smart people in India/CZ/China...
We need to stop focusing so much on the RIFs and imminent furloughs, and pay more attention to the threat of outsourcing. It has never been so threatening in fact. Think about it. I am in aero (one of the areas of aero that will likely skate through... — read more
