There was an all hands meeting and they encouraged people to go into the office. That same day there was a mass shooting in the ATL office food court and a commuter bus was hijacked.
The leader of the meeting then bragged about how nice his high-rise NC office was and didn't mention the traumatic events that day in ATL. The following week we got an email for plans to move back to the office.
Let's see how long it takes before Truist is in the news for a massive security breach after offshoring their cyber security operation teams. Their US "teammates" will be forced to train their offshore replacements. Gotta feel like a slap in the face. #TruistCares
Good luck getting fundings done for the month. They could care less about the one’s being laid off, those left behind, and the borrowers. #truistcares
A co-worker came across this site and told me to read the postings. Since the disaster of a merger, I have watched this bank morf into a big uncaring machine. I've stayed believing it has to get better. Reading the manner in which these employees were treated and the way the lay-offs were handled is criminal. How can the bank do this to loyal employees and still post #truistcares?!!! I've shared the site with my peers. All have been shocked - as I was. Im so glad people were brave enough to tell their stories. Otherwise we would never have know. Our managers didn't even tell us about the lay-offs. We were running around trying to locate our processors, UWs, and closers. Truist doesn't care about their employees or their customers - many of who missed closing dates indefinitely for these rash and unjust decisions. I hope everyone who reads these posts will share this site with their co-workers. The story needs to be told! For those of you laid-off, my heart goes out to you. For Truist---Karma is coming.

Would love to know who you are so I can hug you. Also in the Mortgage division, as a
MLO of Truist and am absolutely floored at what this company is doing to its "family". #TRUISTCARES is a JOKE! They only care about us bringing in business, big loans and opportunity just to ra-e our pay. We work 20+ hours of overtime a week and instead of being paid for it, Truist takes 75.75% of our overtime out of our commission. They do the same thing with sick days and vacation, that WE HAVE EARNED!!!! Executive leadership needs to all be fired. This has been a sinking ship since the merger happened and it's not getting any better. I'm so sorry to all our processors, Underwriters and closers in Tampa that lost their jobs. Betsy, you were absolutely amazing and I pray for you and all of you that God takes this disaster of a company and gives you all something better-more than you could think or imagine.

A very worn out MLO that feels hopeless
#Truistcares is another one. What a joke! Those of us that work here know that Truist doesn't care about their employees. I am sure that there are some caring employees that want to do a good job and to make the clients happy. Unfortunately , it is impossible to do with the shortage of staff and the overwhelming workload. The big dogs at Truist care about getting the big bucks and bonuses, not much more.
