I appreciated your post. It shed some light, at least for me, on how millennials think, and why they make the choices they do. I found it very enlightening. :)
I don't want to put words in anyone's mouth, but I think some of what might be happening is the fact people are upset with how they've been treated, and rightly so. Unfortunately, they are lashing out at the wrong people IMHO (placing blame?). That's not going to accomplish anything long term. Sure, it probably makes them feel good at the moment, but then the hate festers which isn't good for anyone.
I could go on but think it's best to step back off the soap box as it's near impossible to change other people's feeling on things. Personally, I think more respect is needed and not just with each other. Respect for people and things is seriously lacking in the world today.
