How about that! Ford management and HR haven't messed up royal for a change this week and now we have nothing to comment on or rant about this weekend.

Both customers will be disappointed. Sizzle, not steak for options.

Question: Where's Joe Hinrichs? Jim Farley and Bill Ford Jr. are Slapd--ks!
Farley: we have too many people
Talking to the Wolfe Research, he “went on to acknowledge the company needs to make drastic changes to compete and win against rivals including Tesla.” “We have too many people. We have too much investment. We have too much complexity.” So, what... — read more
Blue Oval City or Other Relocation
Has anyone heard anything about transfers going to Blue Oval City & when they plan on starting the process? Was also wondering how well relocation works with Ford? I've heard they'll buy your house if it doesn't sell within 3 months, is this true? — read more
What Questions Would You Like to Ask the New Train CEO?
I will start. Why the h*** are you in a train station with no train that runs through it, so thus it should be renamed?
Are better days coming?
I really hope that better days are coming for Ford and for us who work here, but chances are that it's a bumpy road ahead. Does anyone have something optimistic to say?
Now we have a Train Station CEO 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
Hope his vehicle doesn’t get broken into like mine did last time I was in that area. Or maybe he rides a scooter.
Put yourself out there
I occasionally put my updated resume on some job boards for no particular reason, fully expecting it to be completely ignored. That was the truth until last month. I was contacted by two different companies and I am currently in the process of... — read more

How Long of a Notice Did You Give Before Leaving Ford?
In 2004, I didn’t give one lol. I emailed and said, “I’m not coming back.”
The 54% AICP to 108% AICP was an effort in collective bargaining
Lots on here related to salaried union during the 54% AICP debacle discussion. But the outcome proves that banding together without a union works too. The backlash and outcry were far and wide. You could argue that the reaction to the 54% AICP... — read more

Ford, it's cheaper to try to retain talent!
It is really hard to understand why Ford's decision makers think it is cheaper to constantly bring in new people and train them than to try to retain people with experience by giving them adequate compensation. Will our leadership ever get their... — read more

Ford to go all electric
I hope this will never happen because I think it would be a disaster for this company. I don’t understand why some think it’s a good idea?
People are talking about 2 fords - no one ever said anything when agency had 35% pay cut from march 2020 to July 2021!
Hypocrisy people. Hypocrisy.
Does the AICP vary by department? I am hearing some GSRs got 108% of AICP and others the 54%?
If it varies by dept, the ones below 100% are the next to be laid off in March.
Curious if you took a package last year and retired, did you decide to get another job?

Thoughts - Default 22% AICP Tax Withholding
What are your thoughts on why they are only withholding 22% taxes on the AICP and allowing employees to adjust that? In prior years they have always withheld over 30% and NEVER allowed employees an adjustment.
I will NEVER buy a Ford EV
The company that offers an ICE based pickup will always get my business. And if they offer it without a wireless modem, even better. Though I can always find it and snip the wiring.

Kumar's response to the outrage: HR focus groups

Profit Sharing - Nothing has changed for 30 years!
The profit sharing formulas always favored LL5 and above. The curve was/is exponential, so the higher levels would receive profit sharing almost equal (or more?) to their salary while the GSR/LL6 received $5k-$10K. This will never change - we use to... — read more
