As of 8/26/25, Exelixis began laying off more employees, across departments, but seeming to zero in on remote employees. Exact number not yet known.

the company is in turmoil and not a good place to work. they layoffs are happening and more are to come. it\'s a sad situation for a company like exelixis as it used to be a pretty good place to work. as expected, morale is low.
