Some employees were laid off immediately, others were given a 2-3 month transition period.
@bd How many employees used to work in King of Prussia office? It seems that the company should have had to file a WARN notice prior to undertaking layoff efforts (unless limited exceptions applied)
Closed the office in King of Prussia and didn’t even warn the employees. They showed up to work today and all the doors were locked. Completely heartless and unprofessional.
environments I’ve ever worked in. Management is unprofessional, communication is poor, and the workload is completely unrealistic. There is no real support for employees, high turnover is constant, and the culture is draining.
If you value your mental health, time, and career growth, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. There are far better places to work where you’ll actually be respected and appreciated.
Exelixis laid off staff via a pre-recorded message on a conference call. Unbelievable - no humanity, no accountability, no dignity., no dialogue and no leadership—just corporate cowardice. If management can’t face their employees in hard times, they shouldn’t be leading them. Shameful.
