I’m a long time store manager and Friday was my last day. Another SM in my district has also turned in his notice, along with an SMIT. Plenty of better jobs out there. Good luck to all.
More about coupons
I had a customer who had a coupon that expired a few months ago so, as the store manager, I explained the CVS corporate coupon policy in which we are unable to accept expired coupons. Well the customer called good ol' 1-800-shop-cvs and my district... — read more
Cosmetic plano
What cluster blank! This Plano is going to take longer than 70-90 hour...plus if your unlucky enough to have a beauty consultant that does absolutely nothing but texted all day, your double screwed.
I am so fed up with this new coupon system
This new coupon system is making it so hard to actually take care of the customer the way they supposedly want us to. Taking away the mfr coupon button is beyond stupid. Now we are supposed to apply the coupon amount by price modifying the item. For... — read more
The only metrics that CVS needs..
...in my opinion, are these: 1) Sales - 40%. 2) MCP- 30% 3) Customer Service scores - 30% All other metrics can be tossed in the garbage, because if you making all three of the above, your Store will be successful.
Carepass Incentive
Looks like starting 2/3 cvs will give each employee $3 for every carepass they sell
Thoughts on CFR 2.0
Who’s doing it 100% by design? Is it truly successful? Low, mid, or high volume ? Are you receiving pressure to implement? Any other positive/negative feedback about it. Thanks
Need advice
I need advice. Been here 15+ years. My new dl doesnt have a clue what they are doing. Has no fs knowledge and no idea on realistic time frames of events. Its their way or no way. What do i do?
No one will pay mileage no matter how desperate.
Long story short...I am one of the best workers in my district, I am not exaggerating, 5 managers are constantly asking me to help them out with tasks: cosmetics, truck, planos, seasonal, etc. over the last 2 years I have been offered SMIT 3 times... — read more

I work in the pharmacy. Our tech hours were cut from 120 to 56 . the pharmacy is open for 74 hours per week. What once took 15 minutes now is averaging 1 hour. The phones have not let up the people still come to pick up the medications. we have no... — read more

Hours explanation
45-50k FS. Open 8-10. Truck comes 4-5am. Usually get 8 pallets or more. 2017 & 2018 got around 233-238 a week. Now 200-204 a week. Same workload if not more with stupid hub tasks. So cvs expects the same exact work to get done taking about 15% of the... — read more

COUPONS
Instead of lashing out at each other, let's turn on customers. I would like to hear from Managers how you handle tons of (latinos, hipanics, maxicans ) very little English and 6-8 extracare cards tieing up the registers for hours . It's not about... — read more

Health Hub Renderings Released

NY pharmacies can’t sell c-gare--es in new year.
Cvs already is ahead in this game. Have to give them credit for doing one thing right before the law forced them. Especially as a former smoker myself. C-gare--es don’t belong in pharmacies and Cvs definitely won on this. 👌
